This one-day training aims to explore the link between emotional and sensory regulation and learning. It will consider how emotional and sensory dysregulation impacts upon children and young people’s concentration, motivation, and academic self-confidence, and how we can support dysregulated pupils to feel ready and able to
access learning in the classroom.
Attendees will be provided with practical ideas and strategies to promote regulation, emotional wellbeing, and readiness for learning for individual pupils and groups of children, and will have opportunities to engage in problem-solving around real-life issues experienced in schools.
