A full day’s training for understanding and exploring the psychological functions and challenges of friendships and peer relationships for children aged 4-12.
We will unpack and break down ‘bullying’ and consider how to handle a variety of types of conflict amongst friends and peers. We will also explore the impacts of social media, how we can work with parents, and the possible social challenges of children with more specific needs.
Attendees will have opportunities to problem-solve current issues seen in school and learn about specific interventions and approaches for preventing and reducing conflict and enhancing the quality and stability of good friendships.
